What questions do you still have after today's lesson about natural, human, and capital resources?
How does scarcity affect resources?
My Story
I have learned a lot about life from my parents. One thing that I always remember is don't sweat the small stuff. I have learned that you have to be patient. God will make things happen when he wants to!

MDA Camp

So for a few summers I have a volunteered at a camp for kids with muscular dystrophy. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have had in my life. I truly love the kids at camp! Even though I am only at camp one week a year, I have made friends that will last a lifetime!
My husbands cousin has MD and that is what got us started going to camp. It is really hard to see someone be sick and know that there is nothing you can do to make them better. Camp gives these kids the chance to do things they never get to do!

STAR
I really enjoy life and Earth science. As a result, I chose science as my area of concentration and plan to receive a middle school endorsement in science. I am considering a master’s degree in academic advising because I enjoy working with college age students.
Currently, I am working on campus in the Computing and Information Sciences office. This is a wonderful opportunity because I work and interact with many people from many different cultures. I strongly believe this experience will help prepare me for work in a diverse classroom. I have also had two opportunities to travel to Mexico. I was privileged to go on a Mission Trip to Chihuahua, Mexico my senior year of high school. This great experience immersed me in the local culture. I also traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico this past summer on a vacation. Both trips to Mexico have taught me so much about embracing different cultures. I am excited to be in the classroom and apply the knowledge I have gained and make an impact on students’ attitudes about learning.

First Boyfriend

When I answered the phone that afternoon, I didn’t know I was going to make a decision that would change my life. “Hello,” I said. “Hi, this is Matthew.” He got straight to the point, “so, I hear you like me.” I was completely surprised by his blunt statement. “Yes,” I replied. The next question, “so, you want to go out?” was a question that with my simple “yes” answer led to my first boyfriend. On Saturday July 14, 2007 I married my first boyfriend and he became my husband.
